Team Classes & Workshops
Girl Fit Physical Therapy offers Team Classes and Workshops designed to support athletes and teams through expert-led strength training, injury prevention, and education. These 45-minute sessions are led by a sports medicine physical therapist and can be customized to meet the specific needs of your team, sport, and season.
Team Classes and Workshops are ideal for youth, middle school, high school, club, and recreational teams looking to improve performance, reduce injury risk, and build confidence in movement.
Class & Workshop Options
Sessions can be structured as one of the following—or a combination of multiple components:
Strength & Conditioning
Sport-specific strengthening
Core, hip, upper and lower extremity stability
Proper movement mechanics and form
Age-appropriate and athlete-specific programming
Injury Prevention
Identification of common injury risks for the sport
Warm-up and dynamic warm up
- Safe stretching
Education on recovery and load management
Exercises athletes can carry over into practices and games
Educational Workshops
Educational sessions can be tailored to the needs of your team and may include topics such as:
Injury prevention strategies
Return-to-play readiness
Strength training basics for athletes
Overuse injuries and recovery
Female athlete considerations
Sport-specific movement demands
Sport-Specific & Customized
All Team Classes and Workshops are customized to the sport and age group and led by a licensed sports medicine physical therapist. We work closely with coaches and organizations to ensure content is relevant, practical, and easy to apply.
Location & Pricing
On-site at Girl Fit Physical Therapy: $125 (45 minutes)
Off-site at your facility: $250 (45 minutes)
Sessions are provided based on therapist availability.
